Anambra State Association, Women in USA, Inc. Known as ASA Women USA in collaboration with Global Giving Foundation and Anambra State Government cordially invite you to our 8th Annual ASA Women USA-5K Walk for Hope & Fight to End Cancer on behalf of our Healthcare Access to Indigent Women in Nigeria project @GlobalGiving.

PURPOSE: To support our legacy project on Healthcare Access to Indigent Women with Cancer and other Maternal Health Concerns in Anambra State, Nigeria, and provide cancer advocacy, education, and awareness in USA
Through this project, your compassionate generosity enabled us to adopt and enroll over 70 (seventy) Anambra Women with Cancer & other Maternal Health Issues, from 38 communities in the Anambra State Health Insurance Scheme for their primary healthcare needs; and working towards the establishment of the International Comprehensive Cancer Center in Anambra State, Nigeria. Our Goal is to raise a minimum of $100,000 for the project.
With your generosity, we’ll be able to support our Legacy Project based on 65: 35 ratios: 65% of Funds raised will go towards the establishment of the International Cancer Centre, while 35% of funds will enroll more Anambra Women with cancer & maternal health concerns in the yearly Anambra State health insurance scheme. Provision of health insurance assures a sustainable and cost-effective means to access quality and affordable basic health services from the State’s accredited public, mission and, private hospitals across Anambra State, Nigeria; provide cancer advocacy, awareness, and education within our communities in USA and in Nigeria.
WHAT TO EXPECT: There will be T-shirt distribution, ribbon cutting, donations, fitness workout before the walk, 5K walk, media coverage, vendors, motivational speeches, honor cancer survivors, award presentations, music, give away gifts, healthy food/drinks
