JULY 20TH BONUS DAY PROJECT CAMPAIGN
Anambra State Association Women in USA, Inc. and ASA Women USA Cancer Coalition in Nigeria have some big news: This year we’re participating in JULY BONUS DAY Campaign on behalf of our Healthcare Access to Indigent Women in Nigeria project @GlobalGiving.
Our project focuses on providing life-saving enrollment of one hundred Indigent Anambra Women with Cancer & other Maternal Health Issues in the Anambra State Health Insurance Scheme for a minimum of five years and the establishment of the proposed International Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Anambra State, Nigeria.
Through this project, your compassionate generosity enabled us to adopt and enroll 70 (seventy) Anambra Women with Cancer & other Maternal Health Issues, from 38 communities in the Anambra State Health Insurance Scheme for their primary healthcare needs; and working towards the establishment of the International Comprehensive Cancer Center at Amichi, Nnewi South Local Government Area, Anambra State, Nigeria. Our Goal is to raise a minimum of $100,000 to begin the construction of the cancer center.
In the spirit of this matching campaign, we’re making big, bold asks of our long-time supporters – and that’s you! Can we count on you to support our work with a one-time gift of $1,000 on Wednesday, July 20?”
With your generosity, we’ll be able to support our Legacy Project based on 65: 35 ratios: 65% of Funds raised will go towards the establishment of the International Cancer Centre, while 35% of funds will enroll more Anambra Women with cancer & maternal health concerns in the yearly Anambra State health insurance scheme. Provision of health insurance assures a sustainable and cost-effective means to access quality and affordable basic health services from the State’s accredited public, mission and, private hospitals across Anambra State, Nigeria; cancer awareness; provide education and advocacy. This will promote the social economic development of the State and the Nation at Large
Until our project is fully funded, we will be sending you regular reports about our work. This will keep you informed about all our accomplishments and show you how your generous donation was used.
