TIME FRAME: JUNE 8 – 26, 2020
ASA Women USA Cancer Coalition recently made a few important changes to their 5K Walk for Hope & Fight to End Cancer 2020 program in light of COVID-19. During this time, we will work towards providing HealthCare Access to Indigent Members in Nigeria thru our Community Adoption Partnership Program. We made these changes to better serve our community during this difficult time.
Our Community Adoption Partnership Program will enable the cancer & maternal health indigent members to easily access healthcare, be healthier, reduce avoidable deaths and this will promote economic productivity in Anambra State and the Nation at Large. Our Funding amount is from $5,000 to $50,000 and our goal is to enroll 100 indigent members a year for 5 years in the State’s Health Insurance Scheme, while supporting the expansion of a Community’s Health Centre into a Cancer Treatment/ Diagnostic Centre in Anambra State-Nigeria
Now, more than ever, it’s important for us to have a strong online fundraising strategy so that we can continue serving our community. Which brings us to ASA Women USA Cancer Coalition’s exciting news! We have been selected by the Global Giving Foundation to participate in its online fundraising opportunity for nonprofits around the world, which starts on Monday, June 8, 2020 at 9:00 a.m ET. In order to succeed, we must raise at least $5,000 from 40 unique donors by June 26, 11:59 p.m. ET. If we meet this threshold, we will be permanently featured on Global Giving’s website, can continue fundraising until we reach our funding goal, grow our network, and access online fundraising tools. Please help us reach the threshold of a minimum $5,000 from 40 donors!
