Giving Tuesday and Move A Million Campaign
Dear Sponsors and Project Partners,
Anambra State Association Women in USA, Inc. known as ASA Women USA Cancer Coalition & GlobalGiving invite you to #GivingTuesday and #MoveAMillion Campaign in honor of our ongoing Legacy Project on strengthening health systems through Availability and Accessibility of healthcare to indigent Anambra women with cancer and maternal health issues in Nigeria and in Celebration of our first decade together on November 30th, 2021.
Over the past year, together, you helped ASA Women USA to identify 57 (fifty-seven) indigent Anambra women with Breast and Cervical Cancer from 37 (thirty- seven) communities across the three Senatorial zones in Anambra State through our Community Adoption Project Partnership Program (CAPPP), for their enrollment into the Anambra State Health Insurance Scheme. The adopted communities are Amichi, Awka, Enugwu-Ukwu, Nnewi, Agulu, Abagana, Amawbia, Nnobi, Abatete, Isseke, Adazi-Enu, Adazi-Nukwu, Ezinifite, Alor, Ufuma, Enugwu-Agidi, Akpu, Awkuzu, Umudioka, Isuofia, Akwu-Ukwu, Umuchu, Ifitedunu, Umunze, Nsugbe, Nanka, Oba, Ozobulu, Ora-Eri, Uke, Nise, Onitsha, Ojoto, Nibo, Aguleri, Nkwelle Ezunaka and Oraukwu. You also supported the proposed International Cancer Diagnostic & Research Centre to be housed within the existing wing of Amichi Diocesan hospital. This aligns with our legacy project to provide the accessible, quality and affordable healthcare to the indigent members in Anambra State and the Nation at Large – but more financial help is needed.
This November 30, from 00.00 EST Thru 23:59 EST, GlobalGiving is giving away incentive funds to nonprofits around the world as part of their #MoveAMillion campaign for #GivingTuesday. Your generosity can help us unlock a greater share of those funds! The more you give, the more we get—so there’s no better day to spread the joy of giving.
